Anna Gregorio holds a degree in physics from Trieste, a Master's degree in space systems engineering from TU Delft and a PhD degree from Scuola Normale Pisa. As an astrophysics professor at the University of Trieste, she coordinates instrument teams for large scientific space missions including the European Space Agency’s Planck and Euclid.  She serves on the boards of Elettra-Sincrotrone,SISSA-Medialab and Women in Aerospace-Europe, and she also evaluates projects for the European Commission. Anna co-founded PICOSATS, a spin-off of University of Trieste specialising in small satellites. In 2022, Forbes Italia listed her among its 100 most successful Italian managers.
