Rafal Modrzewski is the CEO of ICEYE, a company that owns and operates the world’s largest constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites. Since co-founding the company in 2014 with Pekka Laurila, Rafal has been responsible for overseeing the organisation’s growth and implementing ICEYE’s overall vision. He has deep domain expertise in SAR engineering and in 2018, along with Pekka, was selected by Forbes for their 30 Under 30 list based on ICEYE’s achievements in space technology. Rafal is also an inventor and is named in several of ICEYE’s granted patents and patent applications.
